September West Coast Creators Blog Hop

Hey All, It is that time again! Our Blog Hop feature this month is the new Stampin' Up Blendabilities.

One of the greatest memories of my childhood is going to my grandparents and having a big re-purposed cookie tin full of crayons along with a variety of coloring books to choose from (don't worry - there was always another tin full of cookies waiting for us!).  Now as an adult it's not uncommon to find me sitting with a mug of tea, a coloring book and crayons and just kicking back to relax. Even though there are no little ones around our house right now I do still have coloring books and crayons.

So now that we have determined that everyone loves to color - we have to now share how excited we were when  Stampin' Up announced that they were launching the Blendabilities line! Yes ladies (and gents) Stampin' Up has made it easy for us 'grown-up' to color any time we want...only this time we get to use Alcohol-based ink markers.

For this project we created some 3x3 gift cards using the Secret Garden stamp set with coordinating Framelits...we stamped the image using the Black MEMENTO ink then colored using the CALYPSO CORAL ASSORTMENT, CHERRY COBBLER ASSORTMENT and RICH RAZZLEBERRY ASSORTMENT.

Hope you enjoy this months creations...please check back often as we continue to explore our creativity.

If you are interested in any of the product that you have seen here today - don't hesitate to contact us for more information!

Don't forget to hop over to our fellow West Coast Creators members and see what they have been up to!

Happy Crafting.

Holiday Catalogue Launch Party Make and Takes

So this past Friday night we hosted our Holiday Catalogue Launch Party, which was a great success.
These are the make and takes we had.
This card was created using a Whisper White base, the FOR ALL THINGS stamp set and the COLOR ME AUTUMN Designer Washi Tape. It only took about 3 minutes to make.

This card is done using a Lost Lagoon card base, the LETTERPRESS WINTER and Lost Lagoon ribbon.

This card is again a Whisper White card base, embossed with the FILLIGREE FRAME Texture Impressions Embossing Folder, the WONDROUS WREATH Stamp Set and cut out using the WONDERFUL WREATH Thinlits Dies

This tag was an Original Design of Devyn's using the Blackberry Bliss cardstock, ribbon and ink. The stamp set is the CHRISTMAS BLISS Photopoylmer Stamp Set and the CONFETTI STAR Punch.

This card is done using an Old Olive card base, COLOR ME AUTUMN Designer Series Paper, FOR All THINGS and SEASONALLY SCATTERED Stamp Sets.
All of the products are available from your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator today.

West Coast Creators Blog Hop

Hey All, So we have joined a Blog Hop with some of our fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. Our first Challenge was to feature different ways to use the BIG SHOT as it is this months feature deal with Stampin' Up!

Our first example is Double Embossing. For this technique we cut an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of SOFT SKY paper in to four pieces.
Photo 1 - we ran the first piece through the BIG SHOT using the CLOUDY DAY Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (Discontinued).
Photo 2 - Once it was embossed we sponged the paper with SOFT SKY ink.
Photo 3 - we then ran the already embossed and inked paper through the Big Shot again using the DECORATIVE DOTS Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (Discontinued).
Photo 4 - we then sponged the paper again with SOFT SKY ink and ISLAND INDIGO ink around the edges.

Our next example is using the FRAMELITS DIES  that coordinate with Stampin' Up! stamps.
For this project we use WHISPER WHITE Cardstock for the base, COASTAL CABANA and HELLO HONEY paper and inks to coordinate with the LULLABY DSP. Stamp set used was SOMETHING FOR BABY with coordinating BABY'S FIRST Framelits Dies. We added Stampin' UP! Dimensionals to 'pop' our project off the page!

For this Project we used EMBOSSLITS. This card is done using WISTERIA WONDER Cardstock to create the base and matted with WHISPER WHITE Cardstock. Stamped on the white is the 'LOVE' image from the SEASONALLY SCATTERED stamp set (Available on August 28 from the Holiday Catalog). Then in BLUSHING BRIDE Cardstock we used the BEAUTIFUL WINGS EMBOSSLITS folder to create the butterflies. We then added the WISTERIA WONDER RUFFLED RIBBON (Discontinued) and the PEARLS. The butterflies were again 'popped' off the page using the Stampin' UP! dimensionals.

We apologize for using Discontinued Items but our stock is still low and we are currently working on building up what we have to create more beautiful projects.

All the current products can be ordered from your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, don't have a demonstrator... feel free to contact us today!

Thank you for visiting our blog and please feel free to jump forward or backwards to the next blogs to see some more awesome projects that our amazing Stampin' UP! friends have created!
